Purpose of Hajj (Bag. 4)

Sixth Purpose: Fulfill God’s Call

Among the goals of this great pilgrimage is to fulfill God’s call and obey His commands, obey it, and submit to the law. This is a very important and honorable goal among the purpose of pilgrimage that must be observed. This goal is found in various pilgrimage series. Among the most important is when talbiyah, which continues to be repeated by pilgrims dozens of times, even hundreds of times in accordance with the enthusiasm of pilgrims in the ritual. Talbiyah is an answer sentence in fulfilling the commands and implementing God’s commands. In every talbiyah speech, repeated sentences (I want you) four times which is the answer sentence in fulfilling the call. The purpose of this sentence is that I fulfill your call, O Allah, obey your commands, submit to your Shari’a. I filled your call for Hajj in your house, so I said, (God bless).

Allah Story said,

And I make a pilgrimage to pilgrims, and for every conscience that comes from every blind person

“And be careful that people make a pilgrimage, and they will come to you on foot, and lift thin camels coming from all corners.“(Surah Al-Hajj: 27)

The arrival of call answers from those who believe in the call Ar-Rarahman marked by their words, (God bless). That is, we fulfill your calling, O Allah; We obey your orders; And we are subject to your call. Repeated sentences (I want you) In Talbiyah reading shows a commitment to fulfill the call. Your words, (God bless), that means commitment to fulfill calls, seriousness of submission, and emphasis in carrying out orders.

Prescribed for people who are talbiyah to harden their voices when talbiyah, as mentioned in the hadith,

Gabriel came to me and said, hi Muhammad

“Jibril came to me, and said,” O Muhammad, ordered your best friend and they should harm their voices during Talbiyah, because in fact it was part of the Hajj symbol. “ (Jam Ahmad no. 21678)

Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam Ever asked, “What is Hajj?” So he answered,

Aj and nails

“Loud voice and Hadyu slaughter.” (Hours. Ibn Majah no. 2896)

Hardening the voice while talbiyah contains a noble meaning and a big impact for a servant in realizing fulfilling calls and obeying God’s commands. Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam say,

There are no Muslims who only meet people on their right or north of the stone, trees, or lengths, until the ground is cut off from here and here and here and here

“There is not a Muslim Talbiyah, but rather a Talbiyah who is on the right and left sides in the form of stones, trees, to the boundaries of the earth from here to here (west and east).” (Tirmidzi Hours at Book Jaami ‘ NO. 828)

When a person rang and hardened the sound, then actually trees, stones, mountains that are on the right and left sides will also be talbiyah. Although we do not hear the sound of talbiyah trees, stones and mountains, but we are confident in the truth because what informs us is a very honest and trusted person, who does not say from the passions. What strengthens this is the word of God in the Qur’an,

Praise of the seventh heaven for him, and the earth, and whoever is in it, and for something except that he praises his praise, but you do not understand it

“The seven heaven, the earth and what is in it is God’s praise. And there is nothing, but to praise it, but you don’t understand it. (Surah Al-Isra ‘: 44)

O Jabal, my father with him and the bird, and we have the same thing.

“O mountains and birds, we repeatedly with David, and we have softened iron for him.” (Surah Saba ‘: 10)

This talbiyah continues to be repeated from the oral pilgrims. Repetition is not something without meaning, nor does it have to. In fact, this repetition is to make the hearts of pilgrims more and more to answer God’s calls and to obey his commands. Not only in the city of Mecca and moves while doing a series of pilgrimage, but this must be in every study of study.

O people who Allah surrendered the pilgrimage, answer the call, and you come to the House of Representatives and fear their torture. Then, how are you with other orders? What is your attitude towards the prayer which is the pillar of religion and the biggest pillar of Islam after recognition? What about your satisfaction? How about your zakat payment? How do you stay away from restrictions and leave actions? If you do it, then praise Allah and ask Him. But when you look down, then you have your property before you grew up on the day of judgment.

You are called to pray, while he is more important and bigger than pilgrimage. You are called to fast, while he is more important and bigger than pilgrimage. And you are also called to do other obligations. You are also called to avoid frustration. So what exactly is your situation, o coal? Is it worthy of Muslim to harden his voice during his poverty, but then when he was called to the prayer, he did not fulfill the call?! If called to fast, he did not obey his orders?! If you call it from the accident, he doesn’t want to fulfill it?!

Therefore, we should realize that Talbiyah and Hajj deeds must really stuck in our cautious, namely the answer to fulfill God’s call and fulfill His commands. How many people God glorified them to be able to take faidah in their Hajj, until they returned to their country in good condition and good hope. He can maintain God’s commands and stay away from prohibitions and realize piety to God. Therefore, at the end of the end of the Hajj verse, Allah Story said,

And provide the best of piety and fear, O first door.

“Well, and indeed the best of the supply is piety. And afraid of me, hi wise people.” (Surah Al-Baqarah: 197)
