There are questions that arise in our minds regarding who and where Dajjal is. Is the Dajjal alive (currently)? Did he already exist during the time of the Prophet Muhammad? sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam?
Before answering this question, it would be good for us to know first about Ibn Shayyad’s story. Jewish youth who lived during the time of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam and suspected of being the Dajjal. Is he the Dajjal or not? If Ibn Shayyad is not the Dajjal, did the Dajjal already exist before his appearance with his slander, or did he appear later (on the Day of Judgment)?
Knowing Ibn Sayyad
His real name is Shaff (some say Abdullah) bin Shayyad or Shaid. He was a Jew who came from Medina, some say from among the Ansar. He was still small when the Prophet SAW sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam came to Medina.
Ibn Kathir mentioned that Ibn Shayyad later converted to Islam, and his son, ‘Umarah, was among the or log in The eminent Imam Malik and others narrated from him.
Adz-Dzahabi wrote in his book Tajrid Asma’ as-Sahaba,
Abdullah bin Sayyad was quoted by Ibn Shaheen as saying: He was the son of Sayyid. His father was a Jew, so Abdullah was born with one eye and was circumcised, and he was the one who was said: He is the Dajjal, then he converted to Islam, so he is Tabi’i, and he has eyesight.
“Abdullah bin Shayyad was mentioned by Ibn Shahin. His father was a Jew, Abdullah was born blind and was circumcised, and people said he was the Dajjal. He later converted to Islam, so he is included or log in who ever met the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam.”
Al-Hafizh Ibn Hajar also wrote in al-Isabah emphasized the same, and named his son ‘Umarah bin Abdullah bin Shayyad as one or log in the leading one, who narrated it from Imam Malik and others.
Ibn Shayyad’s condition
Ibn Shayyad was known as a liar who often predicted fortunes. Sometimes what he says is right, and sometimes it is wrong. Because of his nature, news about him spread widely in society, until the assumption emerged that he was the Dajjal as will be explained in the story of the Prophet’s test. sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam against him.

Prophet’s Test sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam against Ibn Sayyad
When news about Ibn Shayyad spread, many people believed that he was the Dajjal, the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam wanted to make sure it was correct. He came to Ibn Shayyad secretly so as not to be discovered, hoping to hear something that would reveal his true nature. Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam also asked questions that could reveal Ibn Shayyad’s identity.
In a hadith, Ibn Umar tells that Umar once went with the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam met Ibn Shayyad. They found Ibn Shayyad playing with children near the Bani Maghalah fortress, and he was almost puberty Suddenly, Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam patted him and asked,
Do you testify that I am the Messenger of God?
“Do you testify that I am the Messenger of Allah?”
Ibn Shayyad looked at him and answered,
I testify that you are the messenger of the illiterate
“I bear witness that you are the Messenger of those who… um.”
And Ibn Shayyad asked the Prophet again sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam,
Do you testify that I am the Messenger of God?
“Do you testify that I am Allah’s Apostle?”
Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam rejected it and answered,
I believe in God and His messenger
“I believe in Allah and His Messenger.”
Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam then asked,
What do you see?
“What do you see?”
Ibn Shayyad answered,
The true and the false come to me
“Come to me right and wrong.”
Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,
You’re confused
“You have been confused and mixed up in your affairs.”
Then, the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said again,
Am I hiding something for you?
“I’m hiding something for you, tell me what it is?”
Ibn Shayyad answered,
That’s dukh
“Ad-dukh…”
It means to say ad-dukhan (smoke), but was only able to say some of the words.
Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam then said,
Lose yourself and you are no longer worthy of your destiny
“Shut up! You will not exceed your limits.”
Umar then said,
Let me, O Messenger of Allah, cut his neck
“O Messenger of Allah, allow me to cut his neck!”
However, the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,
If he; You will have no authority over him, even though he has none; There’s no point in killing him
“If it’s really him (Dajjal), you won’t be able to kill him. And if it’s not him, then there’s no point in killing him.” (HR. Bukhari)
In another history, the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam ask him again,
What do you see?
“What do you see?”
Ibn Shayyad answered,
I saw a throne on the water
“I saw a throne above the water.”
Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,
You saw Satan’s throne in the sea, and what did you see?
“You see Satan’s throne above the sea. What else do you see?”
He answered,
I see two truths and a liar, or two liars and a truth.
“I see two truths and one lie, or two lies and one truth.”
Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,
He was confused, they called him
“His mind has been messed with. Just let him be.” (HR. Muslim)
Ibn Umar also said that after that, the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam with Ubay bin Ka’ab returned to the palm garden where Ibn Shayyad was. Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam hiding behind the trees in the hope of hearing something from him before he realized he was coming. At that time, Ibn Sayyad was lying down with his blanket. Ibn Shayyad’s mother saw the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam and called his son,
O Saf – that is the name of Ibn Sayyad -! This is Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
“O Shaff! That’s Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam!”
Ibn Shayyad was shocked and woke up. Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,
If you let it clear
“If his mother had let him, things would have been clear.” (HR. Bukhari)
Abu Dzar was once commissioned by the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam asked Ibn Shayyad’s mother,
Ask her how much she is pregnant with him?
“How long have you been pregnant?”
The mother answered,
I was pregnant with him for twelve months.
“I carried him for twelve months.”
Then, the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam told Abu Dzar to ask again,
Ask him about his crying when he fell?
“How did he cry when he was born?”
The mother answered,
The month old boy shouted
“He cried like a one-month-old baby.”
Then, the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said to Ibn Shayyad,
I have hidden something for you
“I’m hiding something from you. What is it?”
Ibn Sayyad answered,
He hid Afra’s sheep’s snout and its smoke for me
“You hide Khitm (nose) lamb and smoke.”
He wanted to say the words advertising shop (smoke), but he was only able to say,
Al-Dukh, Al-Dukh
“Ad-dukh…ad-dukh…”
Prophet’s Test sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam with words “ad-dukhan” referring to the word of God,
So wait until the sky emits clear smoke.
“Wait for the day when the sky sends down clear smoke.” (QS. Ad-Dukhan: 10)
In the history of Imam Ahmad from Ibn Umar, it is stated that the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam hide this verse as a test for Ibn Sayyad.
Ibn Kathir God bless explain,
Ibn Sayyad was a detector like the diviners, in the language of the jinn, and they established – that is, cut – the sentence, and that is why he said: It is smoke, meaning: smoke. Then Rasulullah SAW knew its true nature and that it was Satan, so he said to him: (Be humble; you will not surpass your destiny.)
“Ibn Shayyad has the ability like shamans who are assisted by jinn, so that his speech is fragmented. Therefore, he is only able to say ad-dukh. That’s when, Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam knowing that the source is from Satan. He also said, ‘Shut up! Don’t disobey.’”
Ibn Shayyad: Fact, not myth
Ibn Shayyad’s story is also said to be just a myth, not reality. One of those who thought about this was Abu Ubaydah. He says,
Ibn Sayyad’s character is a myth that has penetrated the minds of some people, and his story lives on in several books attributed to the Prophet. Rasulullah SAW did not say anything in words or deeds other than that which was the essence of truth and its roots. The time has come for us to seriously consider the spirit and meaning of the hadith, its meaning and purpose. We also take the chain of transmission and the method; So that our understanding of Islam is free from excesses and errors
“Ibn Shayyad’s personality is a myth that is accepted by some people, so his story is found in several books and is associated with the Prophet Muhammad SAW. sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam. In fact, the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam never say or do except what is the core of truth and essence. “It is time for us to pay attention to the spirit of hadith, its meaning, guidance and purpose, as we pay attention to its sanad and paths, so that our Islamic reasoning is safe from deviation and error.”
However, this can be answered: the hadiths that mention Ibn Shayyad are authentic, listed in hadith books such as Ash-Sahihain and others. There is nothing that contradicts the spirit of the hadith or the essence of truth. Ibn Shayyad, as mentioned previously, indeed confused Muslims and was one of the fraudsters (Dajjal) from the group of fraudsters, and Allah revealed his lies to the Messenger of Allah. sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam and Muslims.
The death of Ibn Shayyad
Jabir bin Abdullah May Allah bless him and grant him peace tell,
We lost Ibn Sayyad on the day of Al-Harrah
“We lost Ibn Shayyad that day Harrah.” (HR. Abu Daud)
Ibn Hajar God bless consider this history to be valid. Meanwhile, the opinion that Ibn Shayyad died in Medina and that people uncovered his face and offered prayers to him, was considered weak by Ibnu Hajar.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
