Don’t be afraid to be alienated and alone in the middle of the crowd

Sometimes our hearts feel dizzy, confusion, sad, sad, life feels tight, narrow, and “SUMPEK”. In fact, at that time we were no problem, daily needs were fulfilled, and did not have debt. Such feelings often arise because our hearts are “problematic”. Our hearts are sick and need medicine. When our hearts are good, then Willing God Our condition is good, no matter whether we are alone, there are no friends around us, or no one gives appreciation and praise for what we do. In such a condition of heart, we do not need and no longer care about human assessment. Because in a good and “live” heart, we know that we no longer need human assessment. However, our focus is how God Story See and evaluate what we have done.

On the day of judgment, God Story will reveal and dismantle everything we have hidden in our hearts. Lord Story said,

Wicked day

“On all secrets.” (QS. Ath-Thariq: 9)

Therefore, intelligent humans are humans who focus on improving the condition of their hearts. Because the illegal practice is the result and reflection of what is hidden in the heart.

Why when alone, humans feel the need to find friends?

Some of us prefer to be in the crowd, need friends to take a walk, hang out From cafe, malls, and other crowded places. Why are we sad when we don’t have friends? Even though Allah Story Can and able to make us happy without a single person around us. Look at the Prophet Joseph ‘Greetings alaihis, He prefers prison rather than adultery. Yet when in prison, he will most likely be alone, do not have friends. This is because the Prophet Joseph ‘Greetings alaihis Have God Tap, The Almighty Essence, who will give happiness, even in prison, even without anyone, even without having anything.

Likewise the story of Sheikh Islamic Ibn Taimiyah Rahimahullah When in prison, exiled, kept away from his family and village, also threatened with killed. However, his determination was not shaken by it all, and he said in his golden words,

What my enemy did in me, I am my garden and my garde

“What can my enemies do to me? My paradise and my garden are in my chest; wherever I go, he is always with me. Prison for me is Khalwah (Time to be alone with God, Pent.), My death is my martial arts, and the expulsion of my country is like a man (recreation). “ (Based on the arm of law ḤAyati Shaykh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, 1: 7)

Prison for him Rahimahullah is the best time to be alone with God Tap, multiply worship, multiply prayers, dhikr, reading the Koran, Tafakur, Without anyone annoying. Even if he is exiled, he considers it as a recreation, traveling to a new place. And even if he was finally killed, then it was the death he missed because he died in a martyr, even though he did not have friends. This is because he has made Allah Story As a friend and lover.

Therefore, the story above is the embodiment of the Prophet’s word Shoullahu ‘alaihi wasallam In the cave Tsur to Abu Bakr Radhiyallahu ‘anhu,

Don’t be sad because God is with us

“Don’t be sad, Verily Allah with us. “ (QS. At-Taubah: 40)

Then, why are we easily bored when sitting alone in dhikr, reading the Koran, or learning syar’i science? Al-Khattabi Rahimahullah said,

Some wise people say: Conversely, a person is inspired by loneliness to empty himself, and lack of silver from himself; Then he multiplied by meeting people, and he was expelled from the universe himself with them.

“Some wisdom experts say, ‘Someone feels lonely when he is alone because his heart is empty and has no virtue from himself; So he felt the need to hang out with others to drive away the sense of loneliness with their whereabouts. However, if he has the virtue, then he will only seek solitude to help him in thinking and focusing on exploring the wisdom. ‘” (Arsyif Multaqa Ahl Al-ḤAdits, 61: 263)

Look at the situation of the scholars, writers, thinkers or scholars, why don’t they feel bored when alone? Even the scholars used to sit alone in the library for hours to examine the book and learn, write the book to the binding of the moils that we might not be able to finish reading it until death picks us up. This is because their hearts are “filled”, their minds “keep going”, so that when they are alone, they don’t feel lonely. Conversely, people who feel lonely when alone, they are people whose hearts are empty. Then he also looked for friends to chat or hang out. Their hearts are empty of at least three things,

First, empty than remembering Allah, empty than remembering the greatness and greatness of Allah Tax.

Second, Empty from remembering his journey to the afterlife.

Third, empty than remembering the arrival of the day of death.

When our hearts are empty of all that, we are looking for friends. Yet when hang out With friends who are not good, what is discussed is only worldly achievement, showing off success, dropping or degrading others, or gossiping and exposing the disgrace (ugliness) of others (Ghibah). So it’s true when al-khattabi Rahimahullah Then continue his words,

Some of them say: ask people from the signs of bankruptcy

“Some wisdom says, ‘Finding comfort from (gathering with) humans is a sign of inner (inner).’ ‘(Arsyif Multaqa Ahl Al-ḤAdits, 61: 263)

Yes, that is a sign of a poor heart, an empty heart, who always feels needs friends, and can’t feel happy when alone.

If so, then fill in our hearts with dhikr to God, which we can meet at any time without having to make an appointment meeting First. Lord Story Open the door of repentance at any time, as long as we come to Him in our prayer and prostration.

Contemplate our condition when alone in the grave

In addition, contemplate the condition of our ancestors in the grave, they are quiet alone there, waiting for the coming of doomsday for years, without any friends. If we have not been able to feel the delicious worship when alone like that, then that is an empty heart, a sick heart, which needs to be treated immediately.

Contemplate people who on the day of judgment will receive the shade of God, including those who have secrets, hidden deeds that are not seen and known to others. From Abu Hurairah’s best friend Radhiyallahu ‘anhu, Rasulullah Shoullahu ‘alaihi wasallam say,

Seven where God remains in his shadow one day, there is no shadow except his shadow: the priest of justice, and a young man who lifts God’s worship, and a man from the heart of God and a man who loves God, gathering on him and separating it, and a man called by a woman with a tied and beautiful person, he said: sincerely, he confusing him.

“The seven groups that God showed in the shade on the day when there was no shade except the shade: (1) a just priest; (2) a young man who grew up to worship God; said, ‘I am afraid of Allah’; (6) someone who gives alms with one charity, then he hides it so that his left hand does not know what his right hand says; And (7) someone who remembers God in a quiet state, then he shed tears. “ (HR. Bukhari no. 660, 1423, 6479, 6806 and Muslim no. 1031)

From Sa’ad bin Abi Waqash’s best friend Radhiyallahu ‘anhu, Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam say,

God loves my servant, a hidden rich man

“Indeed, Allah loves the servant who is pious, the servant whose heart always feels enough, And those who like to isolate themselves. “ (HR. Muslim no. 2965)

“Like to isolate yourself”, which means it does not show his actions to others.

And this is the disaster of the Muslims today, when some of them are happy to post their worship activities on social media, he also likes to check how much he has Like, comments, And share. That is the condition of an empty heart from remembering Allah Tax. Once again, that is a sign of an empty heart and needs to be treated immediately before becoming a dead heart.
